Real Madrid won’t have Eden Hazard available on Tuesday evening at Shakhtar Donetsk after his injury against Deportivo Alaves.

Over the next couple of days, Real Madrid fans can expect to learn more about star left winger Eden Hazard’s status after he suffered an injury before the half-hour mark on Saturday night vs. Deportivo Alaves.

Hazard’s injury could be a huge loss for Real if he misses several games again, though there is optimism that he merely suffered a knock. He did not appear to suffer an ankle injury, which is a development that should offer Madridistas hope.

Still, Hazard will not play on Tuesday afternoon against Shakhtar Donetsk, making it the second time this season that he will miss a match against this team in the Champions League group.
