Real Madrid are very keen on landing Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain and are offering an unthinkable deal for the World Cup winner.

Real Madrid have endured a difficult start to the ongoing campaign and are staring at massive adversities. Los Blancos risk going several points behind league contenders Atletico Madrid if they fail to win the Madrid Derby and are already looking at a potential relegation to the Europa League after two defeats to Shakhtar Donetsk.

In spite of beating Barcelona and Inter Milan in two significant results, the season is already looking shaky for the Whites, who are planning for the next summer. According to reports, the defending La Liga champions will only go on and expedite their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe, whose need on the goal-scoring front is dire to say the least.

Given that the Paris Saint-Germain forward may be incredibly expensive and the club may have to break the bank to sign him, an option of a swap deal has not been entirely ruled out. In a massive shock, the Real Madrid are willing to get rid of their record signing so far, Eden Hazard to lure the French side into selling Mbappe next year.

Since arriving at Real Madrid, Eden Hazard has had almost an entire year crippled with injuries and this may well be his final rebuke at saving his career at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, it seems very unlikely that the Merengues will part with the ex-Chelsea man, because his fitness is certainly better this time around than the last.

Having said that, PSG would not be as careless to accept Hazard either to replace a potent goal-scorer. As such, Mbappe moving to Real Madrid is only a matter of time and for as much money it takes, the club will go all-in on him next season. But shipping Hazard out is not a judicious move and looks unlikely for the time being.

Next. Firing Zidane would be far, far too reactionary. dark

How much do you think the Merengues will need to pay for their chief target?
