PSG FW Kylian Mbappe

“Forward” is Kylian Mbappe’s position, because he can play anywhere in a front three. Mbappe is at his best on the left side, I believe, but he’s also an excellent striker due to his movement and skill. And he’s also strong on the right, as he is capable with his left foot but also excellent at those dragged finishes with his strong foot (much like Erling Haaland, who will appear later).

Mbappe gets picked apart each week in the Champions League by fans, most of whom seem to be the kind of Premier League fans who are far too critical of young players. We don’t deserve nice things with how much we complain about even a 21-year-old who stands among the world’s five best players.

The stats show how obviously impressive Mbappe is. He is averaging about two goals and assists per 90 minutes in Ligue 1 this season, though he has yet to score in the Champions League. Mbappe has a career average of 1.28 goals and assists per 90 minutes with PSG. And if you want to try to tell me that Mbappe cannot produce in the Champions League, I will refer you to his average of more than one goal and assist per 90 in his career in the competition with both PSG and AS Monaco.

He is Real Madrid’s dream transfer target for a reason. No single player would help Los Blancos more than Mbappe, who could play all three forward positions for Zinedine Zidane. But the most ideal front three would be Eden Hazard and Rodrygo rotating on the left, Karim Benzema rotating with Erling Haaland in the middle, and Mbappe starting on the right as Marco Asensio’s replacement.

There is no guarantee PSG will even be willing to sell Mbappe at any price, but Los Blancos must do whatever they possibly can to sign him. Yes, he is as good as we’ve made him out to be over the years, and, no, you should not get cold feet now just because of a few random “highlight clips” @MasonMountFan shared.
