5 players could leave Real Madrid if Zidane is fired

Had Santiago Solari not been fired in favour of Zinedine Zidane, Marcelo would have most likely been shown the door in the 2019 summer by the Argentinian boss. The former coach would not have thought twice about keeping the Brazilian when he had Ferland Mendy arriving and Sergio Reguilon staying at the club as well.

The vice-captain may willingly look to stay in the capital of Spain at least until the end of his contract, but if there is any other coach except Zidane at the club, there is an increased likelihood that Marcelo would not form part of the plans. His loss will not be very costly from an on-field perspective, but the Madridistas will miss a player they absolutely love.
