RAPHAEL VARANE

Raphael Varane was brought to Real Madrid thanks to a phone-call from Zinedine Zidane almost a decade ago. Despite being successful under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti with Real Madrid, the France international became an undisputed starter beside Ramos only when Zizou took over in January 2016.

Varane would be another huge loss to the Whites because he is one of the world’s best central defenders despite the silly mistakes he makes at times. He has trust in his compatriot and the feeling is certainly mutual. If there is one player that may follow Zidane to a new club, it’s the World Cup winner, Varane.
