Real Madrid: Player Ratings For The Month Of November

A month full of unconvincing performances from Real Madrid with an exception here and there.
Arguably the most tumultuous month of Zinedine Zidane’s second stint as manager, the month of November saw Real Madrid play six games. Although the players managed to get their UEFA Champions League campaign back on track before losing to Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0, the team couldn’t win a single La Liga game, losing twice and drawing one game.
Marred with injuries and COVID-19, a depleted squad couldn’t save the blushes in La Liga. The international break continued its curse on Los Blancos as captain Sergio Ramos returned to Madrid carrying an injury.
While the month of December has started on a positive note, winning 1-0 away at Sevilla, we grade the performances of every Real Madrid player for the month of November.

Having started all the games so far this season, Thibaut Courtois has played the most minutes for Real Madrid in 2020-21. In the month of November though, there was little he could have done to prevent the team from losing half the number of matches they played.
Real Madrid conceded a total of 11 goals. Courtois conceded a penalty, tripping Samuel Chukwueze. He also committed a huge blunder against Alavés. At Real Madrid, the margins of error are already so low, more so when the team is under the cosh at a crucial phase of the season.
Credit where it’s due, he did produce some great saves as well. He has definitely shown that he can be dependable. Here’s to hoping a great December from the Belgian Wall.
