DAYOT UPAMECANO- THE IDEAL ONE

Dayot Upamecano was one of the most talked-about player’s last season after his phenomenal performances with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League.

The 22-year-old is fast, strong, aggressive, and is confident on the ball as well. In fact, like Ramos, Upamecano played a crucial role in RB Leipzig’s  2019/20 Champions League campaign to start the attack from the back and distribute the ball. In fact, the Frenchman almost played like a traditional sweeper for Leipzig during their attacking transitions to help in the distribution and build of play.

It is fair to say that Upamecano is the world’s best young defender alongside Juventus’s Matthijs de Ligt. Although signing De Ligt would certainly be a massive addition given his leadership quality that he possesses at his tender age, however, signing the Dutchman is next to impossible as of now.
