Real Madrid are looking into the option of loaning out Luka Jovic this winter. The Serbian striker is in desperate need of game-time to revive his career.
Luka Jovic was considered one of the most promising talents in world football after his prolific season with Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2018/19 campaign. After scoring 27 goals in all competitions for the German side, Jovic completed his dream move to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos were in desperate need of a clinical striker after a horrendous 2018/19 season where the club lacked firepower upfront. Jovic seemed to be the answer to the goal-scoring problems. However, in his debut season, the Serbian barely featured and the same has followed in his second season at Real.
Even when handed the opportunity, Jovic has not really impressed Zinedine Zidane and the club nor has he shown any of his past form that was on display in the Bundesliga. It seems like the Serbian has now fallen down the pecking order with Mariano Diaz moving up as the second choice striker.
Having said that, a report from Tutto Sport claims that Jovic could on his way out this winter to AC Milan in search of game-time.
Although Jovic is desperate for game-time, a move to AC Milan will certianly not help his cause. The Rossoneri currently have Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao as their first-choice forwards. A move to AC Milan will do no good as Jovic would most likely face the same situation he does at Real Madrid.
