Is Isco on the way out?

The stat sheet says that Isco recorded an assist as a substitute against Granada, but the reality is that he should get minimal credit for the assist when Karim Benzema did the vast majority of the work to score that game-sealing goal.

Isco, quite honestly, looked poor. He fluffed a chance that Marco Asensio set up for him on a platter, and he had several comical handballs that made it seem like he was legitimately trying to play a different sport.

Arsenal has been linked to Isco, who could be a game-changing addition for Mikel Arteta as the manager looks to turn around the struggling Premier League side’s fortunes. As it stands right now, Isco could help Real Madrid down the stretch of the title race, but it honestly seems like Isco would perform at a much higher level somewhere else.

When he plays for Real Madrid right now, something looks off with Isco. He doesn’t seem to be enjoying his football like usual. Isco looks sluggish and lacking in confidence, and he is much, much less effective than the world-class players around him.

I understand he only played for about 15 minutes, but his chances to impress at Real in the next few weeks will be few and far between. Every second counts, and I don’t think Isco is making those seconds matter.
