Real Madrid defeated Granada 2-0 on La Liga’s Matchday 15. Who were the top performers for Los Blancos?

It wasn’t easy, but Real Madrid knew they would be in for a tough battle at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano against Granada, who are looking to secure European football for a second straight season. Los Blancos held on after nearly gifting an early goal, and they managed to put two past Granada in the end for a 2-0 victory.

Now that Real have made it six straight wins before Christmas, let’s take a look at the top five individual performances from Wednesday night’s clean sheet.

CF Karim Benzema

We begin with Karim Benzema, who scored yet another late goal in a Real Madrid win. Benzema now has four goals and two assists in his last three appearances, making him one of the most in-form players in all of Europe. Benzema has found a new level to his game when Zinedine Zidane and the club needed him the most, and he continues to carry this attack.

While Benzema wasn’t necessarily at his most elite in this match, he was still quite good, creating chances for teammates and finishing with aplomb in stoppage time to seal the deal. You wouldn’t bet against him scoring more against Elche next Wednesday after some well-deserved rest.
