Will Real Madrid get a healthy Eden Hazard?

Eden Hazard is Real Madrid’s best player. This team boasts the likes of Sergio Ramos, Thibaut Courtois, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Raphael Varane, and Karim Benzema, but Hazard is the superstar among the superstars. When you watch him take defenders on, you know you are watching one of a handful of players who can single-handedly grab control of a game all on his lonesome.

We don’t have to imagine how much of an asset Hazard can be to Los Blancos. He has been elite for the club before, such as the late Fall of 2019 or in glimpses this season against the likes of Inter Milan and Huesca. However, Hazard has made just 25 starts in all competitions since signing with Real Madrid in 2019, so we haven’t really seen him healthy enough to build momentum.

New signings are important, but Real need their biggest signing of 2019 to be healthy. Hazard was brought in by Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane to be the team’s superstar and leader in the attack, linking up with Karim Benzema to make everyone around him even better. Again, Los Blancos are capable of winning the whole Champions League with Hazard at his best. He is seriously that good, and anyone who watched him each week at Chelsea will back that up.

It’s just these damn injuries in the way. And it’s a shame. If Hazard can get better luck and shake these injuries off for a few months, anything is possible for Los Blancos.
