The winger is expected to feature for Real Madrid against Elche.

Eden Hazard’s Real Madrid journey has been riddled by bad luck so far, having got injured eight times since joining the team and scoring just three goals. He missed out more games than he has played for the team, which pretty much sums it up. However, we as fans must find respite in Hazard’s continuous efforts to his situation around and destroy the label of him being a flop.

The Belgian forward has been looking spectacular in the training in recent days, and one of his clips from training is especially jaw-dropping.

Now that’s what you call world-class, an exquisite rabona finish by our No. 7. This is exactly what Real Madrid need from their most expensive signing ever, and fast. Eden Hazard will turn 30 next week, on 7th January, so he is running out of time while the Madridistas are running out of patience.

He was selected in the squad to face Granada last week, the first time he made the squad upon his return from injury, but Zidane did not risk him since the game was very physical and the manager deemed it to not be the right time to reintroduce Hazard on the field.

Tomorrow, against Elche, the plan is to give a second-half cameo with the possibility of him even starting the game on the left wing. He has been training at full strength and fitness in the last one week and has been in good form in training, indicating that he might be ready to start the game instead of playing few minutes as a substitute.

Whatever happens, everyone will pray for Eden Hazard to end his injury curse with his return to the football pitch tomorrow. He has been a good player whenever he has stepped foot on the pitch but it’s his bad luck that hasn’t allowed him to reach the levels we know he surely would have.
