Real Madrid fans all over the world are hoping for more trophies in 2021. Let’s take a look at some positives for Madridistas to remember.

Last season, Real Madrid won their 34th La Liga title, even though they didn’t look like serious title contenders to Barcelona before the season started. Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2020, and now Barcelona are the ones who don’t look serious, whereas Real are holding steady in second behind a resurgent Atletico Madrid.

Coming second place to Atleti won’t appease any Madridistas, as there is no such thing as a consolation prize when this club is concerned. That said, Los Blancos defeated Los Rojiblancos 2-0 in the most recent Derbi, so they have shown that they are fully capable of unseating Diego Simeone’s side.

The key will be consistency. Can Real Madrid take maximum points week-in and week-out and avoid some of the horrific showings that were the main story of the Fall upon the start of the new La Liga season?

There are concerns, but there is plenty to be positive about. Let’s take a look at four specific positives to keep in mind as we head into 2021, where all sorts of possibilities remain open for Real Madrid.
