RB Dani Carvajal

While I praised Dani Carvajal on the last slide, the Spanish right back surely knows that he is under just as much pressure to perform this weekend as Raphael Varane. Carvajal had a poor performance against Elche – not because he was bad for the entire game but because he made silly mistakes that cost the team.

As amazing as Carvajal is, that’s the big blemish on his resume as one of the best fullbacks of this generation. When he makes mistakes, he REALLY messes up.

Carvajal, like Varane, cannot make any errors on or off the ball against Celta Vigo, because he is in the line of fire of their second-best player.

Nolito isn’t banging home the goals like Iago Aspas, but he’s another creative and effective La Liga attacker whom Madridistas are undoubtedly familiar with.

The 34-year-old has four goals this season with 1.6 key passes per game and 1.6 fouls drawn per game, according to WhoScored.com. His creativity and ability to pinch in goals will make him a nightmare for Real Madrid to deal with, and it will take Carvajal, Varane, Casemiro, and Lucas Vazquez working together to stop him.

Los Blancos cannot only focus on Aspas and Nolito, but they are the clear threats that the visitors have on Matchday 17.
