Real Madrid Femenino are in the Champions League race in their first season since transitioning from Tacon, and their key players are surfacing.

After 13 Matchdays in Primera Iberdrola, Real Madrid Femenino have already shown they are ready to compete at the highest possible level in the league. In the previous season, CD Tacon, in their first season under the overall Real Madrid banner, were a mid-table side despite signing a few Galacticas.

This past summer, Las Blancas made several notable signings to bolster their midfield, defense, and even attack. And in Misa, they added a goalkeeper who has already made some ridiculous saves for the club.

Real Madrid currently sit second in the table, two points behind Barcelona, who have three games in hand. As their head-to-head match showed, Las Blancas still have a ways to go before they can compete with their Clasico rivals. But even with respect to Barç, Las Blancas have shown marked improvement between the 2019-2020 season and 2020-2021 season in head-to-head competition.

Already, Las Blancas have a few players they know they can rely on to carry the day. Let’s take a look at a trio of experienced stars who are making a big difference for Real in 2020-2021.
