FW Kosovare Asllani

We begin with the No. 9, Kosovare Asllani. She is one of the top goal-scorers in Liga Iberdrola and has a real shot at ending the season as the top-scorer. When Asllani joined Las Blancas, Madridistas were over the moon, because they knew the club was signing a serious superstar player who showed at the 2019 World Cup that she has what it takes to lead a team.

Asllani leads by example on the pitch, and she does not accept anything less than 100 percent from her teammates. She is one of the most well-rounded No. 9’s in world football, because, previously, she played as an attacking-minded midfielder.

Having her in the middle as a striker is a huge asset, especially for the world-class wide forwards Marta Cardona, Chioma Ubogagu, and Sofia Jakobsson. They really benefit from Asllani’s movement, quick passing, and dribbling skills.

Asllani hasn’t made an assist this season, but she has nine goals and has put in a lot of hard work to score those goals. Her finishing touch, leadership, and industry make her an ideal star player for Las Blancas, and she is already playing an important role in shaping this club’s identity for years to come. Madridistas have to be grateful to watch a player like Asllani each week.
