Real Madrid find themselves in second place in La Liga with about 50% of the campaign left to go. After a very rocky start to the season, Los Blancos seem to have finally found their feet and continue to come out with victorious performances – albeit not always beautiful performances.

Games Played: 23
Games Won: 14
Games Drawn: 4
Games Lost: 5

The below grades are given to any player who has played at least three matches during the current season. Anyone with less matches may get a comment but no grading for their performances.

Goalkeepers:

Thibaut Courtois – A
With 23 games played in the season, Thibaut Courtois has cemented himself as the Real Madrid starter after a bumpy start to his Real Madrid career. The Belgian goalkeeper has been exceptional this season and continues to show that he is always there when things seem to be going south for the players on the field.

Andriy Lunin – N/A
We have yet to see Andriy Lunin make his Real Madrid debut and that will probably be in the Copa del Rey. The Ukrainian goalkeeper has a very bright future ahead of him but expecting him to start at any point over Courtois is a big ask for almost any goalkeeper.
