The 3 players of Real Madrid that have gone invisible under the eyes of Zinedine Zidane as the Frenchman continues to ignore these talents.

Zinedine Zidane has achieved unimaginable success at Real Madrid during both his tenures, however, during the process there have been a few players that have been phased out by the Frenchman. In the past, players such as James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale were regularly kept out of action by the manager who preferred playing others instead.

There will always be losers and winners under a management system and currently at the Spanish capital there seem to be three players that have gone under the radar of Zinedine Zidane. Here are the three players that have an insignificant role at the club.

EDER MILITAO

Real Madrid went on a spending spree in the summer of 2019 as the club racked big names such as Ferland Mendy, Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard, Rodrygo, and Eder Militao. The Brazilian centre-back had a name for himself in the 2018/19 season after a phenomenal display with Porto against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League. Militao’s defensive awareness and physicality in that fixture stood out which saw him enter the radar of several top European clubs.

When the offer came calling from the Bernabeu, it was a no-brainer for Militao. However, since completing his 50 million euro move and becoming the most expensive defender in the history of the club- Eder Militao has spent his tenure at Real warming the bench.

So far this season in La Liga, Eder Militao has played just 135 minutes and has fallen down the pecking order at the club after a phenomenal performance by Nacho Fernandez who filled in the shoes of Sergio Ramos against Celta Vigo.  It seems like the boat has sailed for the Brazilian and only performing the unthinkable could potentially save or revive Militao’s career at Madrid.
