IS SERGIO RAMOS’S SITUATION SOMEWHAT SIMILAR TO CRISTIANO RONALDO’s?

To a certain extent, yes it is. Sergio Ramos has not yet agreed to renew a deal with Real Madrid due to a dispute over the wages that have been demanded by the 35-year-old defender. And like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ramos is open to a new challenge which is why he is ready to listen to new offers.

A report from Cuatro Deportes claims that the negotiations between Sergio Ramos and Real Madrid have reached a deadlock due to the dispute over the wages. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain has come knocking as the Paris based outfit view Ramos as their replacement for Thiago Silva. Sergio Ramos is open to a new challenge and the opportunity to play in Ligue 1 under Mauricio Pochettino could possibly be an exciting venture for the 35-year-old.

In monetary terms, PSG are willing to offer the Spaniard a 3-year-old contract along with an increment in his salary. Overall, from a neutral point of view, a potential move out of the Bernabeu could be on the cards for Sergio Ramos.
