Real Madrid has prepared a list with Zinedine Zidane that includes players that could potentially be offloaded this winter transfer market.

With half the season underway for Real Madrid, the club has considered offloading some players that have had little to no contribution towards the team so far this season. These very same players also do not feature in Zinedine Zidane’s plans. Los Blancos plan on either selling or loaning out these players this January transfer market, according to OK Diario.

Let’s have a closer look at the four players who feature on this list and analyze what the future may hold for each of them.

ALVARO ODRIOZOLA

First up on the list is Alvaro Odriozola. The right-back faces an uncertain future at the Santiago Bernabeu as the 25-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane’s eyes. Despite being a right-back, Zidane prefers to deputise Lucas Vazquez as the second choice right-back after Dani Carvajal which is a clear indicator for Odriozola and his future at the club.

In all fairness, Alvaro Odriozola is quite a clumsy player and certainly lacks confidence on the ball. His lack of playing time is one of the major reasons why he has never performed on the same level he once did at the Anoeta Stadium with Real Sociedad.

As of now, there seem to be no offers on the table for the Spanish right-back. A few weeks ago there were rumors that Manchester United were interested in signing Odriozola on a loan deal due to his attacking prowess. However, recently the rumours seemed to have simmered down.

Nonetheless, with Dani Carvajal suspended against Osasuna. Alvaro Odriozola could be handed a start that could potentially change his fortunes at Real Madrid. However, if Zidane opts to play Lucas Vazquez instead then it would the final in the coffin for the 25-year-old.
