Lucas Vazquez is a workhorse and a utility player for Real Madrid. He may not be the most marketable player in the squad or the most talented, however, the 29-year-old could certainly be considered as the most hardworking one.

Vazquez could also be on his way out next season as his current contract runs out in June. The right-winger wants a two-year extension along with an increase in his salary, however, Real Madrid are willing to offer either a single year extension with no change in salary or a two-year extension with a 10% deduction.

The 29-year-old seems to overvalue himself as he the player has rejected the first offer from the club. The reason being is because he does not understand why certain players from the squad who have a less important role in the team still earn a considerably higher figure than he does.
