SERGIO RAMOS

Sergio Ramos could well and truly be out of Real Madrid next summer. The 34-year-old defender is on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain who are willing to offer him an enormous contract. On the flip side, Real Madrid prefers to respect their policy of renewing contracts of players past the age of 30.

Several reports claim that Los Blancos are willing to offer Ramos a two-year extension with a 10% reduction in his wages, however, the Spaniard continues to push for an increment in his wages that goes against the long-standing policy at the club. I personally believe that Florentino Perez does not want to break the club’s policy as that could create an image portraying that a player/individual is more important than the club.

If Sergio Ramos is to leave at the end of the season then Real Madrid must start looking at replacements soon enough. David Alaba has been on the radar along with Dayot Upamecano who has a release clause of just 40 million pounds.
