Cristiano Ronaldo recommends the signing of Sergio Ramos to the Juventus board. Could Ramos leave Real Madrid at the end of the season?

Sergio Ramos has not yet renewed his contract with Real Madrid. The soon to be 35-year-old defender is legally permitted to negotiate with non-Spanish club’s as his current contract runs out in June.

Real Madrid are more than willing to renegotiate terms with their captain, however, the club wants to stick to their policy. Meanwhile, Sergio Ramos wants to be an exception to the policy as he demands a two-year extension along with an increase in his wages.

The negotiations between the two parties has reached a deadlock now. With Los Blancos struggling to strike a deal, Juventus have now entered the scene with an attractive offer. Reports from Todo Fichajes states that Cristiano Ronaldo has recommended the signing of Sergio Ramos.

Juventus always love a free signing and how could it possibly get any better when you have the opportunity to sign arguably the greatest centre-back of this generation. The Bianconeri are closely monitoring Ramos’s situation and could make an offer in the coming days. With Giorgio Chiellini planning on hanging up his boots next season, Sergio Ramos could potentially be slotted straight into the starting eleven to replace the Italian legendary defender.

However, the Bianconeri are not the only one in the race to sign Ramos. Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are also favourites to land the former Sevilla man. The former currently seem to be favourites as they have already offered Ramos a lucrative two-year contract along with an increase in his wages.

If Real Madrid plans on keeping their captain for another year or so, then the deal must be finalised soon enough. The pressure continues to mount on the shoulders of Florentino Perez as several other clubs continue to show interest in Sergio Ramos.
