Here is a look at the three big predictions for Real Madrid heading into the next 11 and a half months of 2021- a year which promises a lot.

Real Madrid have made a decent start to 2021 as they have picked up four possible league points out of six. A 2-0 defeat to Celta Vigo was followed up by a 0-0 draw in inhumane conditions versus Osasuna, which raised doubts over the side’s La Liga defence.

Zinedine Zidane’s charges though, have turned attentions away from the league for the time being as the Spanish Super Cup remains their priority until the end of the upcoming weekend. A fixture against Athletic Bilbao could be succeeded by a Clasico meeting versus Barcelona, before another competition- Copa del Rey- kicks off.

Los Blancos are also expected to part with Luka Jovic in the coming days as he sets out on a loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt, but the positive side despite ten winless results already in the season is that Real Madrid are still very much alive in all competitions this season.

Here are three bold predictions for the ongoing calendar year.
