DREAM TRIO WILL END UP STAYING

Lucas Vazquez, Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos have all been among the best Real Madrid players this season. However, every player’s contract is due to expire at the end of the ongoing campaign and they are free to discuss terms with other clubs at present too. Zinedine Zidane has stated that he wants all of them to stay.

Modric’s renewal seems only a matter of time. The Croatian international is extremely keen to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu and has accepted a one-year extension, as well as a pay-cut considering his age- only pending an official confirmation. He is still playing fabulously and has also been handed a mentor’s role for the younger lot.

Ramos and Vazquez meanwhile remain deadlocked and are supposedly far from an agreement with Real Madrid. While the captain is all-important, Vazquez also is key especially in moments of dire need. They have been linked with departures, but something tells me that at the end of the spectrum, we will see both Spaniards stay on.
