Vinicius Jr could be on his way out from Real Madrid after growing frustrated due to the lack of game time he has received over the past few months.

Vinicius Jr has joined the likes of Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Alvaro Odriozola, and Martin Odegaard on the bench. The Brazilian has fallen down the pecking order under the eyes of Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid who prefers wingers using other wingers such as Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, and Lucas Vazquez.

In my previous article, I had expressed how Zinedine Zidane has wiped out Vinicius Junior from his plans. The nimble-footed Brazilian has only played a mere 20 minutes of first-team football since his admirable display against Athletic Bilbao last December. Since then, Vini has been confined to the bench.

A report from Defensa Central claims that the 20-year-old winger has grown frustrated with Zidane’s cold treatment and wants a possible move out. Meanwhile, Cuatro report that the reason behind Zidane losing faith in the Brazilian tracks back to the tunnel bust-up between Karim Benzema and Vincius Jr.

The 33-year-old French striker had asked his compatriot Ferland Mendy in French not to pass the ball to Vinicius. Benzema and Zidane are known to share a close relationship, however, I strongly believe that Zinedine Zidane would certainly have another reason behind his treatment with Vini.

The same report from Cuatro goes on to state that Zinedine Zidane felt extremely disrespected when Vinicius Jr was using his phone during a half-time briefing session with the players.

Some believe that Zidane’s treatment with the younger players such as Jovic, Odegaard, Vini, and so on has been poor this season due to a lack of trust. Real Madrid has not been performing at their best, which is why the French manager has opted to stick to his preferred core team and has avoided rotating the squad as much as possible.

Nonetheless, Vinicius Jr wants a loan move out and Arsenal are interested. Luka Jovic is also set to complete his loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt soon as only his medicals are left to be examined. What do you make of Zinedine Zidane’s agenda towards the young players such as Vini, Martin, and Jovic?
