OLIVIER GIROUD

Yet another suprising player on the list. As good is Olivier Giroud is at the age of 34, it is highly unlikely that he will move to Real Madrid. At Chelsea, Giroud has been their best performer amongst the forward despite the limited game-time. The former Arsenal man wants out this winter but a move to the Spanish capital seems improbable to my knowledge.

However, Giroud’s style of play is similar to that of Karim Benzema. Which could be one of the many reasons why the French striker of the Premier League has been linked with Los Blancos. His hold-up play and clincial ability in front of goal is astounding. But could signing Olivier Giroud be the answer to solving Real Madrid’s current lackluster attack? I doubt.
