Real Madrid will face Levante on Matchday 21 in La Liga after picking up an important bounce-back victory over Deportivo Alaves last weekend. Despite the win at the Mendizorroza, Real still have questions to answer about their consistency on Saturday afternoon at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

The losses to Athletic Club and Alcoyano still have not been fully redeemed, but Madridistas should be optimistic that the Royal Whites will complete their season sweep of Levante.

Let’s take a look at five players who must shine for Real Madrid in this fixture.

RW Marco Asensio

Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema excelled against Alaves with two goal contributions each, but Marco Asensio disappointed Madridistas with a poor showing on Matchday 20, furthering the concerns about his consistency.

Asensio has shown flashes of quality player in 2020-2021, but, by and large, he has been subpar. Lucas Vazquez could start over him since Dani Carvajal appears to be healthy at right back now, though I think Zinedine Zidane will stick with Asensio. He’ll need to prove he can start on the right-hand side, since Hazard should have the left winger job locked down. Finally, it is important for Asensio’s defensive contributions to be solid in this match, as Jose Luis Morales could start on the left flank for the Frogs.
