Kosovare Asllani will score more than 25 goals

There are two players on Real Madrid Femenino with 12 goal contributions in the first half of the 2020-2021 season thus far. Sofia Jakobsson has five goals and a team-high seven assists, while all of Kosovare Asllani’s 12 goal contributions have been goals.

The Real Madrid No. 9 has been an exceptional attacking player for Las Blancas, and it’s so important that she continues to fire in the goals for this team. Barcelona have a couple of world-class strikers in Jenni Hermoso and Asisat Oshoala, so Asllani is Real’s counter to that duo. And with Jessica Martinez, they have a secondary striker who helps Asllani greatly.

Asllani scored a hat trick against Valencia this past weekend to remind fans around the world why she is one of the best there is. She isn’t a striker by trade and is actually at her best as a No. 10, but maybe that narrative will start to shift if she keeps on scoring like this.

With 12 goals in 16 appearances in the first half of the season, Asllani has been red-hot, but she’s only going to get better. I have a strong feeling she will score more than 12 goals in the second half of the season and finish with over 25 goals. Both she and the midfielders are ready to reach new heights offensively in the final months of the campaign.
