After their loss to Levante, Real Madrid have resumed their winning ways. First, they came from behind to beat Huesca over the weekend behind two goals from center back Raphael Varane. Then on Tuesday night, they defeated Getafe 2-0 despite dealing with many key absences.

This weekend, Los Blancos will have yet another home match following the win over Getafe, as they look to get a win over Valencia.

Here are three things for Madridistas to look forward to this Sunday afternoon.

Another good game from Vinicius Junior

Vinicius Junior struggled as a substitute against Levante, and Madridistas were concerned about the left winger’s downturn in form, which included a woeful display against Alcoyano in the team’s Copa del Rey exit.

But since Eden Hazard’s latest injury, the young Brazilian forward has stepped up. Vini showed more confidence and played a key role in the win over Huesca, regularly taking on and beating defenders one-on-one. That was a sight for sore eyes.

On Tuesday vs. a tough Getafe side, Vinicius was again lively on the ball, and he finished with a pinpoint cross to assist Karim Benzema’s opener.

That makes it back-to-back above-average displays from the youngster, and Madridistas should be excited for a third straight from Vinicius Junior. He is a key player for this team and could have a Man of the Match-type display on Sunday at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
