Real Madrid defeated Getafe on Tuesday night by a score of 2-0, and they were just as good in another professional clean sheet victory by that scoreline at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano against Valencia. Suffice to say, they clearly avenged their 4-1 loss to the Bats at the Mestalla.

Here are the top five individual performances from Los Blancos’ latest win.

CM Toni Kroos

We begin with the near-universal Man of the Match, Toni Kroos. The German international returned to the Real Madrid starting XI after serving a one-game suspension against Getafe for accumulating a fifth yellow card last weekend at Huesca.

Kroos picked up where he left off by commanding the entire pitch with his flawless passing, and he nabbed his second goal of the season by passing the ball calmly into the bottom right-hand corner of the net. It is, of course, a trademark finish for the so-called “sniper”.

Elsewhere in an attacking sense, Kroos had four key passes and a foul drawn, per WhoScored.com. His passing statistics are always a sight to behold, too. Kroos attempted 107 passes, nearly 40 more than Casemiro in second. About 95 percent of those passes were completed, including a jaw-dropping 13 of 14 long balls. There isn’t a more accurate passer on this planet than the 31-year-old.
