He decided to shoot from there, which came as a surprise to his teammates, but he shot with immense power into the left top corner. The goalkeeper tried to save the shot but to no avail. It also gave a measure of the hard work Ronaldo puts in to keep his body in shape, which makes him a supreme athlete and gives him the license to execute such impossible things with relative ease on the field.

He added another goal to his name by scoring a thunderous freekick, and assisted Gonzalo Higuain for a goal, to end the match with 2 goals and 2 assists.
