Real Madrid have a huge match coming up on Wednesday night. They will travel to Bergamo and face Atalanta in the Champions League Round of 16, hoping to progress further in the competition than they did last year when they were eliminated in the first round by Manchester City.

While Los Blancos are a bigger club and have a stronger side on paper than Atalanta, Serie A’s fourth-placed side showed their full attacking brilliance over the weekend in a 4-2 win over Napoli. With the likes of Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata, they are capable of anything. And their midfielders behind them, especially left-sided wide man Robin Gosens, are plenty talented in their own right.

But Real Madrid have their own star players. Here is a look at three possible Man of the Match winners for Los Blancos on Wednesday night under the bright lights of the Champions League in the first leg of the Round of 16.

The story of this match will be Real’s defense, which is still vaunted even at far less than 100 percent with Dani Carvajal and Sergio Ramos injured, against Atalanta’s high-flying attack. But perhaps, with Karim Benzema injured, Real’s hero will truly be in the oft-maligned attack.
