8. Levante FW Jose Luis Morales

Levante have a handful of La Liga’s most underrated players, and they are as dangerous as any club in this league. They are a real sleeper to qualify for European football in 2020-2021, led by the forward duo of Jose Luis Morales and Roger Marti, who have 19 goals between them.

Morales is just ahead of Marti in goals and assists, contributing a total of 13 goals. He is Levante’s star man and capable of scoring some of the best goals in the league. Just ask Real Madrid fans how they feel about Morales, who has scored bangers against them in each of the past two seasons, both in upset wins for the Frogs.

7. Real Betis AM Sergio Canales

It’s hard to list just one position for Sergio Canales, who has played as a left-sided midfielder, attacking midfielder, and deep-lying playmaker for Los Verdiblancos this season. He and Nabil Fekir are two of the best playmakers in La Liga, but the 2020-2021 season has been Canales’ campaign to own.

He has been one of the most electrifying players in the league this season, reminding Spanish football fans of his class. Canales deserves a lot more plaudits around Europe. He has 12 goal contributions this season for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, pulling the strings with an even 2.0 key passes per contest.
