Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad on Monday night in La Liga after winning all five of their matches in February. Los Blancos are currently on a streak of four straight clean sheets, including a 1-0 win on Wednesday against Atalanta in the Champions League. Meanwhile, La Real are reeling after being knocked out by Manchester United in the first round of the Europa League.

But Real Sociedad are tough customers. They drew 0-0 with Real Madrid on Matchday 1 of the 2020-2021 La Liga season at the Anoeta Stadium.

Here’s a look at five players – three from Los Blancos, two from La Real – who could be Man of the Match on Matchday 25. All decisions are based on MARCA’s predicted lineups.

Real Madrid LW Vinicius Junior

Vinicius Junior showed no shortage of effort against Atalanta and played a mistake-free game on the left-hand side, but he found it difficult to make something happen against a 10-man side that basically played all 10 of their men in defense for 39 of the minutes Vini played.

He’ll have an easier matchup on Monday night against Real Sociedad’s defense, especially if he can get into space. Vinicius is definitely Real Madrid’s best forward right now with Marco Asensio struggling and Mariano Diaz set to start for an injured Karim Benzema. Let’s see if he can stand out in this league matchup, as he’s been quite good in La Liga recently.
