Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad on Monday night at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, hoping to extend their winning streak to six straight matches. In addition to a winning streak, Los Blancos have recorded four clean sheets in a row.

La Real have the kind of attack that won’t make it easy for Los Blancos to pitch another shutout, especially with Alexander Isak in fine form. Here are five key players to watch on the Royal Whites this Monday night.

GK Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois is tied on clean sheets with Jan Oblak and could finish as the Zamora Trophy winner for a second straight season. Los Blancos won’t have Sergio Ramos available, as his return is expected to take place in mid-March against either Elche or Atalanta. But they still have a strong center back duo in regular stalwart Raphael Varane and surprise standout Nacho Fernandez.

That said, Courtois will still likely face his fair share of dangerous shot attempts from the likes of Alexander Isak, David Silva, Portu, and the highly-esteemed Mikel Oyarzabal. If Courtois can keep another clean sheet against La Real, he’ll have accomplished a very difficult feat indeed. And you wouldn’t put it past him to do exactly that, based on what we saw last weekend at Real Valladolid, whom he shut out in both matches this season.
