Real Madrid had a fantastic February despite facing a myriad of significant injuries, including the long-term absences of Sergio Ramos, Eden Hazard, and Rodrygo Goes. Los Blancos won all five of their matches, with four of them coming in La Liga and one in the Champions League.

They held clean sheets in four of those five victories, signifying a return to form from their defense despite the absences of Ramos and Dani Carvajal.

Before they face Real Sociedad on the first day of March, let’s break down the full player ratings for Los Blancos from their undefeated month of February.

GK Thibaut Courtois

It’s safe to say that Thibaut Courtois had a tremendous month. He surrendered just the one goal to Huesca to start the month in five matches, and his clean sheet against Real Valladolid a the Jose Zorrilla was his best performance. Courtois made a trio of jaw-dropping saves in the win, somehow keeping Valladolid off the scoresheet in a frenetic first 10 minutes.

Courtois is currently tied with Jan Oblak as La Liga’s leader in clean sheets with 11, and you wouldn’t put it past him to play shutdown football the rest of the season en route to a consecutive Zamora Trophy.
