One of the breakout stars of Serie A this season, 23-year-old center back Bremer has been a crucial starter for Torino in their defense, forming a strong partnership with the experienced Nicolas Nkoulou. In truth, Bremer has outshone Nkoulou and could be ready to make a big move, with Premier League sides like Liverpool reportedly interested.

Real Madrid fans should take a look at the young Brazilian defender, too. Bremer has lit up the stat sheet this season with four goals, 4.3 clearances per game, 2.1 interceptions per game, and 1.4 tackles per game. And he’s only been dribbled past 0.4 times per match, same as Badiashile.

If Real lose Sergio Ramos, Bremer immediately becomes a key target. But even if they lose Ramos, he is still someone to keep in mind in case Raphael Varane does not want to renew and must be sold.

The competition from the Premier League could cause Bremer’s price to rise, but Transfermarkt currently only has him rated at six million euros. Torino would surely ask for a lot more than that, given center backs his age with that kind of production in Serie A are few and far between. Bremer is a highly valuable commodity.

But he’s not as big of a name as Pau Torres, Jules Kounde, or some of the other players linked to Real. He is as good as many of them, though, and Real Madrid would do well to put him on their transfer shortlist.
