Eintracht Frankfurt

We begin with Jovic’s current club, Eintracht Frankfurt. There is a path to a permanent deal with the Hessen-based club that involves Real Madrid’s crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid. Los Rojiblancos have one of the top goal-scorers in Spanish football in the legendary Luis Suarez, but they could have interest in Andre Silva, who is right there with Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland near the top of Germany’s scoring charts.

Atleti surely won’t be the only team interested in Silva, who has scored a whopping 19 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances so far this season. So if Silva gets a big-money move, Eintracht all of a sudden have the budget to replace him with another big name forward. And who better than Jovic, a proven fit for the Eagles and a current player for them on loan from Real Madrid?

It wouldn’t be difficult for Eintracht to convince Los Blancos to part ways with Jovic either. Zidane has never really seemed high on the 23-year-old marksman, and it’s not like he fits Real either. Real haven’t shown a willingness to divert to a faster, more counter-based scheme or even a two-striker system that would fit him better. I have this weird thought that he and Haaland could be a solution together, but, well, that’s never going to happen, is it?

Eintracht could be the favorites to sign Jovic, but that all hinges on Silva. He impacts both the physical and financial space that would be necessary for the Bundesliga side to execute a permanent reunion with the Serbian striker.
