Real Madrid hasn’t been at their best lately. They are struggling to find the net, going behind easily, and running out of ideas during build-up play. In the last two match-days in the league, the team barely rescued a point to stay alive in the title race. There have been under-performers in the starting line-up and it has been a talking point if Zidane should experiment with changes.

Several things could be changed. For starters, playing Rodrygo down the right and Asensio on the left may have compromised with Rodrygo’s abilities, who as we all know is a very useful player on the left. The lack of intent to create clear chances has been another issue. The midfield trio is vital and have been doing their jobs well, but is that enough? The introduction of Valverde in El Derbi changed the momentum of Real’s intent, pumping a lot more immediacy.

With so many issues to talk about, it is high time that Real’s next galacticos step up to the challenge. There is a lot of potential on the bench and reserve for the club. And their inclusion in the starting line-up could alter the play. Here are 5 such players who need to prove that they can be regular starters for Zinedine Zidane.
