Sergio Ramos

There is no surprise as to which player tops this list. There can be no alternative to El Capitan, Sergio Ramos. This man figuratively breathes Real Madrid with his decorative legacy at the club. He truly is a club legend for Los Blancos captaining them to 3 consecutive UCL titles.

Ramos’s contract expires at the end of this season and though a possibility looms over the club that they will sign a deal to extend his stay in March, there haven’t been any concrete steps yet. While tensions over an agreement remain, the interests of clubs like Manchester United, Juventus, and PSG do no good to our relief.

Although the rumblings at Old Trafford were clarified by the report of Fabrizio Romano, there has been no clarification of Juventus. Ramos may be lured into playing for Juve given their interest in Varane. Upon a move, it’d mean old teammates – Ronaldo, Morata, Ramos, and Varane may all be playing in black and white strips by the end of 2020-21.

Todofichajes reports that Real Madrid is in links with Braga’s David Carmo. The 21-year-old has been called the next big thing from Portugal. Could he be a possible replacement that Los Blancos are already eyeing if either Ramos or Varane can’t get to an agreement?

dark. Next. Who should Real Madrid buy if Raphael Varane does not re-sign?

No matter what the verdict may be, if the captain chooses any outfit over the Royal White it would be a massive shame for the entire fandom of the club. Needless to say, the thought of Ramos playing with a different club crest on his chest is something we would never want to bring to our minds.
