4. Toni Kroos

Toni Kroos invited a lot of attention recently with his public announcement regarding his intentions of staying longer in Madrid. Well, there is no second thought to the fact that Kroos is a crucial player for Los Blancos. And, his performances have well complimented his bold words.

The most featured German in Madrid colors has impressed immensely. He assisted two of the three goals in their last matchday in the league, per Whoscored. He found Benzema inside the box with his brilliant vision and his pressing translated into a second assist for the Frenchman who took his chances perfectly and found the net on both occasions.

Kroos has been brilliant on the ball for Los Blancos this season. He has maintained a passing accuracy of 93.5 % in the league so far and has produced as many as 2.5 key passes on an average, per Whoscored. The 31-year-old is the heart of Real’s midfield. May it be during buildup plays or shooting from distance, he has put up few great shows.

However, his ability to continue for the whole 90 minutes has been a question for Zidane. He has tried to make his changes count with the introduction of Valverde or Isco, who stay at Zidane’s disposal whenever in need. This combination should therefore work. It is extremely crucial that Kroos stays fit and starts the remaining matches for Los Blancos. There is no alternative to his vision and his deliveries during set-pieces. He therefore will go in as a crucial contributor to Real’s title push.
