Forwards

For most, this is the most exciting part. With both teams having explosive forwards and strikers who can finish almost anything that comes their way, which way would be the best to go? You can go for promising youngsters who have really made their name on the biggest of stages with players like Vinicius Junior or even Rodrygo Goes or you can look at experience and game-changers when talking about Sadio Mane and Mohammad Salah. Eden Hazard is a name that shouldn’t be forgotten and he could have made the cut if injuries didn’t dominate his past two seasons at the club.

In the end, though, the wing positions will be taken by the two explosive Liverpool players in Mane and Salah. Mane is unpredictable and can cause numerous problems with his runs with and without the ball while his partnership with Salah is always a joy to watch. These two players will make things extremely difficult for Los Merengues.

Up front, it’s a battle between Roberto Firmino and Karim Benzema and even though both players have rightfully made their name in the football world, the French striker is one of a kind and in sensational form at the moment. Benzema has not only gained the admiration of the Real Madrid fanbase but he has also cemented his name as a legend all over Europe. He knows how the game goes and what his job is and more often than not, he executes it to absolute perfection.

Final Verdict: Mohammad Salah, Sadio Mane, Karim Benzema
