Go for another big-name signing, and explore other options

In the past two to three years, many big names have been linked to Real Madrid. While Robert Lewandowski was linked to Real Madrid immediately after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo, the club chose not to invest in him. But at this juncture, the club wouldn’t mind investing in such players, if the pursuit of Haaland and Mbappe fails.

There are many more world-class players in Europe, who would be a great alternative to either Haaland or Mbappe. Those options include Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho, Lautaro Martinez,  and many more players. Harry Kane has been the latest name to be linked to Real Madrid, and apparently, he’s the club’s plan B if Mbappe or Haaland aren’t signed.

Three of these players are proven players, and they would cost the club around 100 million. They are currently linked to different clubs, but if Real Madrid identifies them as a perfect target, then there would be no stopping the club, and the decision would be in the hands of the player. Though Kane isn’t as young as the other names, he’s probably the best out of them, and he can contribute a lot.

Sporting-wise, a player like Kane can form a lethal partnership with Benzema. And a player like Lautaro Martinez knows how to convert chances while playing against a low block. Jadon Sancho can provide goals and creativity, and he can also play well from both the flanks, and he’s someone the club can actually look forward to signing.
