Varane is one of the best three center backs on this planet, and what he’s accomplished before the age of 27 is simply remarkable. A key leader on the French national team, the reigning World Cup winner needs to be spoken of with the utmost reverence. And likewise, Real Madrid must treat contract negotiations with him in the same respectful manner.

His contract will expire at the end of the 2021-2022 season, and that’s led to speculation about his future. Could Manchester United or PSG steal him away?
