To make it to Brazil’s squad for the Copa America in the summer

Vinicius made his debut for the senior Brazilian national team in September 2019, but he never really got significant minutes with the yellow jersey. He has mostly been an in and out player for Tite’s Brazil, with his selection depending upon his club form. His most recent callup was in January 2021, but he couldn’t get a single minute.

At the end of this summer, Brazil will be hosting the Copa America (postponed from 2020), and Vinicius would definitely want to be a part of it. Brazil has a lot of talent in their attacking contingent, and to get a spot in the Brazilian team amidst such competition, Vinicius needs to have an exceptional end to the season. His performance for Real Madrid should be so good in the closing stages of the season that the Brazilian coach Tite should be impressed.

In the above tweet, which is one of Vinicius’ old tweets, he has mentioned that it is his dream to win an international trophy with his country, Brazil. Right now, the nearest approaching competition is Copa America, and Brazil will be the favourites to win it. If he wants to play for Brazil in such a major tournament, this might be his first chance, which will be a great chance for him. But to book a spot in the squad, he needs to work hard and impress everyone with his performances for Real Madrid.
