LW Rodrygo Goes

We finish with another Real Madrid winger. Rodrygo Goes is going to be the most dangerous man on the pitch for either team this weekend. Although he rarely starts this season and has not even played a full 90, Rodrygo only needs a half-hour to make an impact. We saw this recently against Real Sociedad and even against Granada on the day he was injured.

Rodrygo is fully fit now, and he is going to have an interesting battle with La Liga veteran Damian Suarez on the right-hand side of the hard-nosed Getafe defense. Suarez is a savvy defender, but Rodrygo’s explosiveness and dribbling skills are fully on display when he plays on the left side of the formation, which will be the case this Sunday.

So Madridistas should be excited to see what Rodrygo can do when he returns to the XI in his preferred spot. Rodrygo has the equality to put an entire defense on strings, finish a chance on his own, and create for others. He has six assists this season in spite of his limited minutes, and it would not be surprising at all if the talented Brazilian winger added a seventh goal contribution to his tally on Matchday 33.
