Milan

AC Milan and Real Madrid did some business this past summer, as Los Blancos loaned Brahim Diaz to the Rossoneri. Brahim hasn’t been a permanent fixture in the Milan lineup, but he’s played pretty well as a versatile forward with five goals and two assists. He hasn’t blown anyone away, though, and Milan do have question marks up top beyond Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has cooled off immensely after a hot start to the season.

Rafael Leao is a very talented young player, but Milan could use another young star at the striker position. And they have one great forward in Ante Rebic, whom we know can work well with Luka Jovic in tandem.

Milan challenged for the Scudetto in the first half of the season but then fell apart. They have a great defense and midfield. But their attack needs one more player who can score goals at a high clip and ascend with the team.

No team has been more consistently linked with Jovic over the past year. Milan would make a lot of sense for the 23-year-old striker, and they should have the funds to make a move happen. And I’m sure Real Madrid and Milan would like to continue their positive working relationship, considering Real may one day have interest in their midfielder Ismael Bennacer.
