This summer, we might actually witness a ‘Revolution’ at Real Madrid. Many big changes are expected to be made this summer, with AS reporting that this summer might be the time for a ‘Galactic Revolution’ with the Club president Florentino Perez looking to make many sales and generate the maximum possible funds, to seal some huge signings.

The word revolution is something we’ve seen many times since the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo. With a core of world-class players who aren’t getting any younger day by day, and with some periods of unsatisfactory and inconsistent performances from specific players this season, this was expected to happen.

The overhaul that is being speculated has already happened in the summer of 2019, with Real Madrid boosting their ranks by signing six players who cost a combined 350 million euros. But that project can be called a failure, despite Ferland Mendy being a success and Eder Militao proving his worth in 2021, as the two costliest signings of the lot, Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic, have failed to make it count due to numerous factors.

So if Real Madrid is planning a major overhaul this time, they need to plan it perfectly and be very careful with each decision they make. They’ve already seen how hastiness and desperation lead them into making major investments in some players, whose performances didn’t justify their price tag.

We have to wait and see what happens this summer, which could be an interesting one with UEFA EURO 2020, Copa America, and Olympics scheduled, along with the summer transfer window which could potentially reveal Real Madrid’s plan for the immediate future as well as plan for the long run.

Let’s have a detailed look into the possible revolution of Real Madrid, and predict the possible positions where some departures can be expected, along with the possible reinforcements for the empty spots.
