Real Madrid are gearing up for a busy summer transfer window. Los Blancos have not made any signings in the past three transfer markets and will be looking to make a statement this time by signing Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a free-scoring season with Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 40+ goals in all competitions in the 2020/21 campaign. However, his contract will be expiring in 2022, and the French forward is yet to ink fresh terms with PSG, while constantly being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

If Paris Saint-Germain and Mbappe fail to agree to a contract renewal, then PSG will look to cash in on the highly-rated winger. To counter this, Real Madrid will look to sell players over the summer and the likes of a few high profile stars could be added to the transfer list to raise funds. Here are three forwards that Real Madrid should consider selling this summer.

EDEN HAZARD

As per a report from Edu Aguirre on El Chiringuito, Eden Hazard wants to leave Real Madrid as he is not happy and wants a return back to Chelsea. In my opinion, this is the perfect opportunity to cash in on Eden Hazard. The 30-year-old has suffered 12 injuries in his two seasons at the Spanish capital and has missed a total of 59 games.

His market value has already hit a new low of 40 million euros, which is pale in comparison to the figure Real Madrid paid in 2019 to sign him from Chelsea. Not to forget, the 30-year-old also earns a mouth-watering salary as well.

Real Madrid must cash in on Hazard now before it gets too late. If the Belgian has an impressive run of performances in the Euro 2020, then it’s even better since his market value could shoot up and Madrid could receive far better offers. However, the option of hanging onto Hazard for another season and being patient with him to perform and adapt could turn out to be a gamble.

Los Blancos have been just fine without Eden Hazard and his absence next season will not be felt heavily if Kylian Mbappe ends up signing in the summer. If Chelsea does come up with an offer for their legend, Real Madrid must accept it without even thinking twice.
